Fellow and Poem of the Month Winner, Brooklyn Poets, 2025
Selected to participate in a six-week workshop on “Meddling with the Matrix: Poetry of a Technological Era” and as the winner of the October Yawp Poem of the Month Contest at Brooklyn Poets.
Poetry Fellow, Rooted and Written Conference, 2024
Selected for a fully-funded 7-day professional writing conference at The Writers Grotto with classes, workshops, and mentorship, concluding with a live public reading.
Poetry and Meditation Workshop Facilitator, Stanford University, 2023
Led several poetry and meditation workshops for wellness classes and the Buddhist community at Stanford. Received the Stanford Community Impact Award for my work to center art and racial justice in classes.
Performer and Semifinalist, UniSlam Poetry Festival, 2022
Selected to compete in UniSlam, the UK’s largest team poetry slam. Crafted individual and team spoken word pieces with three other emerging poets, reaching the semifinals round.
Levinthal Tutorial Writer, Stanford University, 2021
Worked with the poet Hieu Minh Nguyen to create a 30-page writing portfolio. This built upon my poetry performances at open mics across the United States, including Nuyorican Poets Cafe in NYC and Medicine for Nightmares in SF.
